Urban Village Interior Architecture & Design was set up by Cate Watts in 2009.
Cate originally trained and worked as an accountant and corporate financier but it was not until 1999 that she discovered her true vocation when she began renovating properties. Urban Village is the product of Cate’s highly successful blend of original creative flair and efficient management skills.

The name reflects Cate’s inspirations; the juxtaposition of old and new, traditional and bohemian.

The Urban Village philosophy centres on balancing space, flow, colour, light, texture and old and new throughout the whole space. Cate relishes making the most of any idiosyncrasies and constraints to create unique homes.
