Atelier du Pont
“At Atelier du Pont, we always consider our profession of architect to be a personal one. Every time we take a project on, we provide unique responses to complex problems. In the end, if a building is successful, it must not be transposable. It is made for that specific place and nowhere else. And the more complex the problem, the simpler our response has to be. We believe in an architecture that speaks to people, that is neither pretentious nor overbearing. This is a notion of architecture that we want to share with you: unique, generous, and welcoming. Our firm’s offices are located in an old warehouse down a small alley in the heart of Paris’ 12th arrondissement. The place is quiet, our workspaces are big and our garden open.
Anne-Cécile Comar, Philippe Croisier and Stéphane Pertusier founded Atelier du Pont in 1997. The team currently consists of two partners (Anne-Cécile Comar and Philippe Croisier) and about thirty staff members from all kinds of backgrounds. Atelier du Pont is a founding members of the Plan01 architecture collective with which they created in 2008 the ecodesign engineering office Plan02.”
